Arrived in Nice, France last night. A day of travel - planes, trains and automobiles. OK, so we didn't actually take a train, but we did take a bus and that counts. Nice is amazing - on the Mediterranean and a beautiful city. We drove 4 hours through Provence as the sun was setting to Velleron, France, where we will stay for the next week - traveling each day to the start and end of the Tour de France to root for Lance!
The mountains are gorgeous and the people are just as good looking. Apparently, a diet built on wine, cheese and bread results in great skin, healthy bones and living until the age of 100. Why did nobody share this news with me sooner?
Looking forward to a great week in Provence and the South of France.... Headed up to Bordeaux and Paris thereafter to watch Team Radio Shack and Lance win the Tour!
