My brother was released from the hospital last night, which is good news indeed. He is home sleeping in his own bed! Fingers crossed that the fluid dissipates properly. As for cancer, it still really sucks.
Lots of good work being done on the "cancer" front by both LAF (www.livestrong.org) and the American Cancer Society. Keep up the good work!
And, I have decided to "up my game" a bit and run the NYC marathon on November 7 to raise funds and awareness for cancer survivorship. This will be my fifth marathon, but I haven't run one in a while and none in my 40's.... Let the training begin (but certainly not until post-France.... Have I mentioned the wine here?)
